Award Criteria

• Actively riding Regular member in good standing for at least 2 years.
• Member must have served as an Operations line officer, an elected and voting member of the TVAC Board of Trustees, or a Committee Chairperson.
• Member has made some contribution of service that will have a lasting and enduring positive impact on how TVAC fulfills its mission and/or its leadership.
• Honoree may be nominated by any Regular or Life member. Nomination must be in writing and shall include reference to the above criteria and how the nominee's service has impacted TVAC.
• The nominee(s) will be evaluated and voted upon by a review committee chosen at the October Regular Membership Meeting. The review committee shall consist of two members of Operations (including and/or appointed by the Captain), two voting members of the Board of Trustees (including and/or appointed by the President) and two other active riding Regular members (elected by the membership) and the Corps Chaplain. The nominee, who may not serve on the review committee, will be confirmed by a simple majority of the committee members.
